Project Description:

MightAim believes that it is the visually impaired's right to be part of our digital society, and so we want to help them be able to use mobile applications with ease and confidence.

Project Requirements:

In this project, I have been tasked with developing the Android application for MightyAim's suite of mobile applications to provide ease of access to popular applications

The applications rely heavily on gestures for the user to interact with as well as using haptic and audio feedback to indicate changes in the application.

The application has to also be converted to an Android library to provide that plug-and-use functionality.

Learning Points:

Although I had past experiences with Android development, I never really had a major project to work on to further my understanding of Android. MightyAim provided an outlet to do just that, enabling me to become more familiar with using Gestures in Android as well as the use of the TextToSpeech library in Android.
